Mr. Md. Yasir Arafat joined as a judicial magistrate on May 22, 2008, and later served as a senior judicial magistrate in Feni District till August 2012; as a senior assistant judge in Comilla District from September 2012 to November 2014; and he worked in Kishoreganj District from December 2014 to January 2016. He then worked as a Joint Metropolitan Sessions Judge in Sylhet district from February 2016 to November 2020. In Sylhet district, as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate from November 2020 to September 2022, he served in Habiganj district till 2001. He was promoted to Additional District Judge and posted to the District and Sessions Judge Court, Habiganj. He was working from September 2022 to November 2024. Later, he joined as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Comilla, on transfer on 20/11/2024 and is working to date.
